I'm pretty sure whoever does promos for NBC is a freaking genius. They're always edited together and make me almost want to watch shows I don't even care about. It could be that The Office and 30 Rock are just that great, but I think it's more than that. I watch these and it's like, that's how to edit a commercial.

Sorry, off-topic. J'adore Pam in the promo though.

first of all fantastic icon.

Even though they're in old school gear (which I LOVE), I'm assuming it's just one of those times they want to show us something's been happening a long time, when they really just filmed it now. Like when they said Michael's been surprising people for their bdays, but just this time, they did it REALLY well with Jim & Pam. They probably just did John & Jenna's hair like they used to to make it fun for the fans. I'm guessing they're gonna show us how Dwight has had this Recyclops character for years. I would love an old retro episode of JAM like that for the entire time, but this is just my guess :o)

As much as I like happy Jim & Pam I forgot I loved old school Jam before PB&J. How much my heart skipped a beat when seeing Jim at the reception desk with Pam.

I'm confused - so is the episode a flashback? Or are they old school for some other reason? Does anyone have slightly more specific details/promos on hand?
