Bringing the Sexy

This isn't going to be a weekly thing, but I received so much positive feedback from the JimPam video I posted last week that I decided to put together another Office video with a very different theme and tone that turned out to be much more time consuming and tedious to make. It's set to "SexyBack" by Justin Timberlake, and it's a bit of an ode to how awesome and cool Michael and Dwight think they are (and subsequently how uncool everyone else thinks they are). There's no clips from the new episode so we're spoiler free.

The video is a little glitchy and I apologize, neither Movie Maker nor YouTube seem to like movies with lots of short little clips. *sweat*

I loooooooooooved it. Made me laugh. The timing was great. And it just had to end with Michael hitting Toby against the boards. :)

The part with Michael dancing on the table with his favorite jeans killed me dead. I LOLed and I'm totally the only one awake in the house. *is a dork*

I believe it's from the end of "Valentine's Day" when Michael went to New York to meet with corporate.

Hahaha so great. The clips matched perfectly with the music, even when they probably shouldn't have. Awesome. The greatest part for me was the shot of Jim just sitting there shaking his head - so great. Loved it.

There were a few clips I just threw in there and when I watched the finished product they ended up fitting really well. Like towards the end when Jim pops Dwight's "fitness orb," the stab ended up being on beat, that was unintentional, but it works well, I think.

I knew I wanted to make an extended pause at that part of the song from the start, it was pretty much the motivation for this whole video.

i cannot tell you how much i HATE the Office clips set to music.. (because, honestly... most of the time they are horribly corny)

But this is brilliant! I loved it!!!!

That was fantastic! Great job! The editing was wo well done! Great pace, with perfect clips for each part of the song. Some of the dancing and singing clips were just perfectly instep it felt like they should have been set to the song to beging with! Seriously, it was awesome!

opened the episode file in windows movie maker and proceeded to do a lot of scanning and "clip splitting." I think finding and catagorizing the clips took longer than actually making the video.
